If/when something new is promulgated, Laudate and other apps will need do what they need to do if they wish to be acceptable for liturgical use.

I was going to start the Divine Office but it’s good to know that it is being changed. My dominant language is English (despite living in Korea) so this is very helpful. Thank you.

The article (and another it points to) indicates a “scheduled publication” date 2022, which does seem worth waiting for and doable, given the to-do/to-be-done list at the end.

The only thing that would cause me dismay – And the article is not at all clear about this – would be if they would endeavor to get buy-in from every English-speaking episcopal conference, they way they did with the most recent Roman Missal.

I am thinking of using the app for this, but the English Divine Office is so hard to find here in Korea. I would love to use a paper version of this. I may have to get it through the Catholic Company.
