If you don’t know something, and you want to find out, you are correct to post here. It is one of our primary responsibilities as a Christian to shape our conscience. Therefore, without more evidence, you are not being scrupulous.
Games indulge useless curiosities and make us prone to sloth. Games with questionable elements to them decrease their intrinsic worth. Still it is a fiction and not reality. As long as the game is not facially morally impermissible, it would be ok to play.
Take the ghosts game. In our world as we know it, God does not allow ghosts of either good or bad souls to interact with the physical world as a general rule. There are some exceptions like Samuel in the Old Testament, Moses in the New Testament, some stories of Saints either returning or being visited, and other secular stories. But as a general rule, no ghosts here. However, that is not to say God could not have created a world, our world, where ghosts, even evil ones, visit our existence, and the evil ghosts try to harm us. If that were true, it might be our moral duty to vaporize them, especially if they had kidnapped our brother. You can argue that it is useless indulgence in the imagination, but as far as imagination goes, it is fine.
The other game sounds more suspicious, but without knowing all the details, it might be fine too. God could have made a world with superior creatures of vast powers that are still merely creatures. As long as they are not understood as God in a true sense but are just called that by their ignorant subjects, then you are likely fine. In real life, God made the angels who have significant power. If someone had met an angel and thought it God, that would not make the Angel sinful. Still, does the character glorify itself when people worship it or does it ignore the creature or correct the creature? If the former, it is probably bad. Alternatively, if the game truly tries to depict an existence that excludes the possibility of the real One, True God, above all things that would be a false, impossible world and not worthy of any pretended emulation. It would be even worse if you had to play-act that God.
