Hi y’all,

I was wondering what pages do you all mark in your daily Latin mass missals? I recently got the wonderful Saint Andrew Daily Missal and was wondering where do you all put your ribbons?

I have:
The next Sunday after Pentecost,
The Mass propers,
Prayers after Mass,
June 22 feast day

I have one extra ribbon that I have no idea where to put it, so I was wondering if you all have this missal, where do y’all put your ribbons?

Thanks and God bless!

How about asking this on the sede forum you frequent? You seemed to enjoy stirring up trouble.

I place the red ribbon right now on the Fourth Sunday of Pentecost, which was this past Sunday’s Mass. I will move the red ribbon to the Fifth Sunday after Pentecost next Sunday.

I use the white ribbon to follow with the canon of the Mass, usually placing it at the Asperges Me at page 951. I move this ribbon the most during the actual Mass itself.

The green ribbon is used for the Proper Prefaces. Right now it is on page 93 for the Preface of the Holy Trinity which was said last Sunday.

I use the yellow ribbon for the Low Masses during the week when I attend. It’s on page 1254 right now for June 22nd.

The purple ribbon I use for placing special Low Masses. So, for example, for June 25th on page 1267, the actual Mass for June 25th is on page 1670, so my purple ribbon is placed on page 1670.

Hope this helps. The St. Andrew’s Missal is the best.

I also use the first four ribbons for the Proper of Time, Order of Mass, Preface, and Proper of Saints. Since I don’t have daily Mass available (for which the above user employs the last ribbon when texts move around out of sequence), my last ribbon is usually parked at the Kyriale at the back of my missal to help me sing along.
