Is it morally offensive to some extent?
Yes, definitely. It is very erotic, and characters who are depicted as “the good guys” are having lots of sex outside the bounds of holy marriage. So, unless you want your morals damaged, skip this one.Is it morally offensive to some extent?

Hello. Thanks. I skim read that article. I saw this heading within the article: “A more nuanced view.” I’ve heard that before. That’s liberal code-speak used by people who want to watch movies with full frontal nudity and lots of heavy-breathing erotic sex scenes.Check this out, Bartolome Casas.
Uh, there is nothing wrong with nudity in film and art. The Vatican’s Best Film List contains, among others, Andrei Rublev, a Russian film which contains a scene with a group of naked pagans. Schindler’s List, also on there, has nudity in a concentration camp. There are other examples.Hello. Thanks. I skim read that article. I think the TRADITIONAL CATHOLIC ANSWER to nearly everything is BETTER.
Just use this rule: Would you watch the film while seated next to the Blessed Virgin Mary? If not, then take a pass and save your soul and help save the souls of others.
Don’t listen to Mr. Nuanced. These types have been destroying the Church for 40 years now. Enough is enough.
Context, got to remember the context. You can’t make a blanket statement that there is nothing wrong with nudity in film and art, because sometimes there is something very evil about nudity in film and art (porn, graphic sex scenes that has nothing to do with the storyline, etc, etc). Context, just putting it out there for consideration.Uh, there is nothing wrong with nudity in film and art. Or, to make it short, I could just say: the Sistine Chapel. Can’t get much more traditional.
I agree, but in my defense I was responding to what appeared to be a blanket statement regarding nudity in film and art, without addressing the part regarding sex scenes. Should have made a comment, though, about context. My bad.Context, got to remember the context.
