Washington, DC – On his first day on the campaign trail, Texas Gov. Rick Perry admitted he made a mistake on the sole issue pro-life advocates bring up as the lone black mark in an otherwise sterling pro-life record.

Politicians generally claim to believe whatever they think will get them elected.

About half of all adult men and women are infected with HPV, which is a leading cause of cervical and other cancers. Even if your son or daughter isn’t infected, and even if they enter marriage as a virgin, their spouse or sexual partners may be infected and unaware of it. Gardisil is effective in preventing infection by the most common types of HPV. Vaccination seems like a very good idea to me.
