I am sorry to hear this. I enjoyed him in “Easy Rider.”

Eternal rest grant unto Peter Fonda, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him.
May he Rest In Peace.
May his soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, Rest In Peace.
Amen.

He sure resembles Jack Nicholson in the above snapshot with his face filled out. Did he make any other movies? Easy Rider was his claim to fame.
Jane craved the spotlight more than he did I think.

May he rest in peace.

He was in a bunch of counterculture-type movies in the 60s and 70s. I remember him in “The Trip” where he played a TV director who took acid for the first time and then wandered around the Sunset Strip all night meeting weird people. I also remember him in “Dirty Mary, Crazy Larry” which was basically a hot rod car chase movie.

I see he was in some film in the late 90s that won a lot of awards, but I don’t remember it at all.

Yes, I remember there were a few other forgettable movies he made. He definitely
does not leave behind a large catalogue of films like his Dad did and his sister will.

I don’t find Jane’s movies to be all that memorable. I could name three: Barbarella, Klute, and On Golden Pond (mostly memorable because her dad was in it with her). And if I really thought about it, 9 to 5, although everybody watched that one for Dolly Parton.
Her 80s exercise video is more memorable than most of her films.

I am not a Jane Fonda fan, but I love the
movie The China Syndrome with Jane,
Jack Lemon and a young Michael Douglas.
I try to watch it whenever it is on.

I think she has made a few senior women
movies which I Don’t care for at all where
the silver seniors try romance or attend their daughter’s wedding or travel to
Europe. Those movies just Don’t interest me at all.

“Easy Rider” has been on my to-watch list for years, but I’ve still never gotten to it. I’ve seen him in a handful of mostly forgettable films though. My biggest memory of him is from “Futureworld”, the entertaining but inferior sequel to “Westworld.” I actually just rewatched it about a year ago and wondered what became of him. He never achieved the status of his dad or sister.

I saw it recently. It’s very weird, but the best performance is that of Jack Nicholson. He’s the only one left of the original three top stars of that film.

My cousin had them.

She thought it would be good for us girl cousins to all to do a workout. She was in her mid teens. I was I guess 12. My muscles ached for days . But I did get to wear a leotard and leg warmers.

I was in college when Jane’s video was popular and I had a couple of female suitemates in the dorm who would exercise regularly to her tape.

:pray:t2: May God have mercy on his soul, and grant comfort to his family and loved ones. :pray:t2:
