Road rage of yelling and getting out of the car to cuss someone out who started the bad driving and is blaming you. Meaning yelling and swearing back in someone’s face even though you were not the one doing the bad driving you still went to their level of anger.
And did Jesus really whip the tax payers out of the church to stand up for his Fathers house? This was used as a comparison of why the ‘yelling and swearing was justified.’

Yelling and swearing at other drivers is not a safe practice these days. That should be your main concern over and above the morality of it.

I see no comparison there. Indeed, not a safe or productive tactic.

Yeah, that’s a pretty unsafe thing to be doing.

Not really a reason to justify yelling and swearing at someone even if you weren’t in the wrong. Be the better person and just drive away if no one got hurt and your car wasn’t hit.

I am so glad you put this in the Social Justice sub forum. 😂

Don’t be goin all up and vigilante on people. Stay out of the gutter and take the high road 😎

Another reason I should be thankful for moving from a city of 6 million to a town of 4000.

Wow, OP, you joined just to have that as your first post. Welcome to CAF.

I agree completely and that is what I told this person. Thank you.

Interestingly, I find my road rage has increased.

Just FYI, when I say “road rage” I don’t mean yelling or gesturing at other drivers (too dangerous). I just get… annoyed.

Well, the frustration with some poor habits, not to mention some who should no longer be driving is there. That aggression and anger - well I don’t see that.

Thank you everyone. I agree completely. Can someone please address Jesus using whips to get the tax collectors out of the church. I just never viewed Jesus to be angry, just more passive. He didn’t fight back at all during his crucifixion and took all of that pain and suffering for us. I guess I always have this view of him-am I wrong?

Ritious anger: anger to something that is unpleasant or offensive to God. May the only acceptable form of anger.

You’ll be another victim. Someone will shoot you
Don’t do it. So you get somewhere 5 mins later. So what?
Leave earlier. Or take another route.

This. Don’t underestimate the petty nonsense people are willing to kill over.

I don’t know about whips, but Jesus did get angry and turn over tables and such.

Nope. Lots of shootings on the highway. Don’t you watch the news?

I tend to not watch much national news. Anything outside of my area I don’t worry much about.

I’ll go read up
