Robert Goulet was born a Roman Catholic and had a most successful career as a singer and actor. Like many “hollywood” types Goulet had bumpy lifestyles that resulted in at least one divorce.

All the same, Goulet, in my opinion, recorded the “Ave Maria” like no other artist in my lifetime…not even Luciano Pavarotti outdid Goulet’s rendering of this most cherished song to the Blessed Mother.

Goulet emotes in the “Ave” unlike any of his peers. It is a rich and deep resonance that seemed to open clouds so that we could imagine Our Holy Mother.

Because of this, if for no other reason, we should say a prayer for our brother Robert Goulet in hopes that he will find eternal bliss.

God rest his soul.

Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

May God grant him eternal rest.

😉 This does not mean, however, that Robert Goulet can’t mess with your stuff at work if you don’t eat a package of Emerald Nuts. 😃

I pray that Robert Goulet has been received into Heaven and that his family find comfort.

Eternal Father, I offer Thee the Most Precious Blood of Thy Divine Son, Jesus, in union with the Masses said throughout the world today, for all the holy Souls in Purgatory. Amen

Amen! Lord hear our prayer!

One of my favorites. RIP.

My brother was a room service waiter at the Pittsburgh Hilton and waited on many celebrities over his career. He said Robert Goulet was one of the nicest people he ever waited on.

May his soul and souls through God’s Mercy ever rest in His Peace…Amen…
