Public opposition to the Roe v. Wade decision is reaching new highs in the United States, according to a new poll commissioned by the country’s Catholic bishops.

A Harris Interactive poll, conducted in February, found that public support for the Roe v. Wade decision had dropped to 52 percent, from 57 percent in 1998-- a significant drop in acceptance of the Supreme Court decision that allowed abortion on demand throughout the US.

Many people are under the illusion that Roe and her evilsisters restricted abortions to the first trimester. Once they are aware that abortion can be performed at any time for any reason, approval drops dramatically. It’s up to all of us to inform the public about the real story

However, even if Roe v. Wade were overthrown, it wouldn’t eliminate abortion in the U.S. It would become an individual state matter, and there will always be states that will retain abortion, even if some will put restrictions on that retention.

big deal, since when did what the people want play any part in the pro-death lobby’s use of the judiciary to ram through the social manipulation of morality to support the agenda of a tiny minority of deviants.

Actually, it is a big deal, Public opinion too often moves slowly in the right direction, and speedily in the wrong one. But if enough people reject those decisions, eventually there will be enough heat that judges will be replaced, and new opportunities will become available to address the issue.

Nobody took a poll in 1973 when the Supreme Court legalized baby killing. The American people never got a chance to vote on abortion. I say the battle to change hearts and minds is over. It’s time to change a few judges.

It’s also time for the other branches of government (i.e., democracy) to take back their rightful jurisdiction over baby killing, sodomy, etc. If they did that, there’d be less need to worry about judges abusing their power.

forget Roe, take down Griswald v. Conn. That is the case that illegalized states denyoing peopel contraception. it was a precident used in Roe. strike at the root…
