Is anyone’s church having a Rogation day procession today, tomorrow, or Wednesday?

Unfortunately, my chapel is not (I’m not sure why), though because of my sechedule I probably couldn’t attend it even if they did.

Let us pray for God’s mercy, especially for those who are suffering from the forces of nature.

No, they are never even mentioned, let alone having a procession for them.

Unfortunately no, but we will have a High Mass on Ascension Thursday.

My FSSP parish will not this year but we are having a big High Mass and celebration on Thursday for the Holy Day .This Saturday is the big ordination day for the FSSP.

There will be a special Rogation Mass on Wednesday, but I am not sure if it includes a procession. This is at an SSPX chapel.

Yes, we have a Rogation Mass and procession on each Rogation Day. We have the normal Ferial Masses at the church and the Rogation Masses and procession are done at our school to include the K-12 students.

Ok, but who is having a rogation procession that encompasses the fields and pastures for which we pray? 🙂

That sounds awesome.

We just had ours during the morning Mass. The school kids did it all, and I was blessed.

Are you a wheat field? 😃
Sorry, no grain fields around here. It must have been Ignatian Exercises/Institute of the Virgin Mary. The Mass and after - Mass activities were all about the Virgin Mary. It’s not listed in the church bulletin, and the regulars who sit near me every morning were as surprised as I was. It was heart warming watching the kids.

The procession of kids carried flowers that were placed at the foot of a statue of Mary that was placed in front of the alter after the Mass was finished. This us a new parish for me.
