article:
GRAND RAPIDS, Michigan (AP) – – Rolling Stone magazine declined to run an advertisement for a new translation of the Bible aimed at young people, the nation’s largest Bible publisher said Wednesday. Zondervan, a division of HarperCollins Publishers, bought space in the magazine months ago as part of an ad campaign for Today’s New International Version, said Doug Lockhart, Zondervan’s executive vice president of marketing…

On Tuesday, USA Today quoted Kent Brownridge, general manager of Wenner Media, as saying his staff first saw the ad copy last week, and “we are not in the business of publishing advertising for religious messages.”…

This apparently is an ideological decision of the Jewish homosexual founder of Rolling Stone, Jann Wenner.

Where it not for gospel music there wouldn’t be a Rolling Stone magazine. Ray Charles, Elvis Presley, Little Richard, Jerry Lee Lewis, and many other rock n roll pioneers attribute gospel music as being the key component in thier brand of rock n roll.
So in a way Rolling Stone is denying the book (Bible) that inspired the music that would be a precursor for the music they promote today.

Who cares? Rolling Stone has gone downhill in the past 10 years. It’s too pop-culture. The covers are always trashy, at first glance it looks like a porno mag. I’m tired of seeing Christina Aguilera or Britney Spears sprawed on a bed with a tiger and wearing some sort of a loin cloth. (I exaggerate.)

Haven’t purchased an issue in over a quarter of a century.
