EDIT: There’s a hebrewcatholic.org website. Is that the one you’re talking about?
 
I have had a conversation about this with my parish priest. Their ‘ordinations’ for lack fo a better term are invalid and they have put themselves outside of communion with the church. What’s worrying is that people believe them when they declare the Masses they hold as valid. They’re not and I pray that the Holy Spirit will guide ALL of those concerned back to the church and away from their folly.

That is a bit different, though, than Gentile Catholics making believe they are Jews for a day.

The Church isn’t saying that Roman Catholic Womenpriests aren’t Christian, either, or that they’re less Christian than other Protestants. The Church is only saying that their behavior and beliefs are incompatible with full communion in the Roman Catholic Church. Hebrew Catholics might have the right to keep kosher and observe the traditions of their ancestors, but no one would blame the rest of the Jews if they barred them from functioning as cantors or rabbis in Jewish synagogues, from representing themselves as leaders within Judaism, etc…
 
How could the Church, who is believed to speak for Christ, call someone to the priesthood; when it has been previously stated that priests are to be men? To quote on of my favorite movies, “that don’t make no sense!”.

The problem is that people fail to grasp the simple fact that the Church is not a democracy. Democracy may be the best form available for a civil, human, government, but it is not how the Church is to be run. We did not elect Jesus. He is not President. He is King of King and Lord of Lords by virtue of His sonship to the Father and His perfect sacrifice. (FYI, this is by no mens my original thoughts, they belong to Dr. Scott Hahn, PhD) We cannot, by way of majority vote, attempt to change that which was instituted by Christ. That should be the end of this discussion.
