Roman Rite Catholic Church in Bethlehem, PA?

Hi, I have some questions. I was baptized in a Catholic Church of a Roman Rite, and the church was Saint Anthony’s, but, unfourtantely, that church is in NJ. I am in Bethlehem, PA, and my Zip Code is 18018. And I would like to ask if the Notre Dame Catholic Church is either similar or the same of Saint Anthony’s? Or could someone please recommend me a church in my area to what Saint Anthony’s church is?

When you say “Roman Rite,” do you simply mean a Catholic church? Or are you perhaps looking for one that celebrates the extraordinary form of the Mass?

I took a look at the church you are talking about (St. Anthony’s) and I would say its very similar to Notre Dame in Bethlehem without obviously attending Mass at both of them. I am in the Allentown Diocese and have been to Notre Dame. Its legit!

As for the other post regarding the possibility you are looking for EF Mass, you can go to St. Stephen’s in downtown Allentown…

Hard to tell since their website has virtually no information on it. However, I looked at two different listings of extraordinary form Masses and it wasn’t listed, so I’m guessing it was the ordinary form.

When you attended Mass there was it in English? That would be the ordinary form. If so, all of the parishes I listed would also be the ordinary form.

I never went there for Mass. I was baptized there and it was as Roman Catholic, but I am not sure what form of Roman Catholic I was baptized as. I was just a few months old baby but that was 32 years ago in May, and I know because I have my baptize certificate.

You were baptized as a Catholic. You most likely were baptized in the Ordinary Form. Baptism is baptism; while the rubrics may differ slightly (or more, depending on your perspective), there is one baptism.

The church you mentioned upthread, St. Anthony’s in East Newark, is a Catholic (or, if you prefer, Roman Catholic) church. So if that’s where you were baptized then yes, you are a Roman Catholic. The parishes I mentioned in and near Bethlehem are Roman Catholic parishes.
