Did you guys see today’s First Vespers for the beginning of Advent celebrated by Pope Benedict in St. Peter’s Basilica!? THE DEACONS WERE WEARING BEAUTIFUL ROMAN VESTMENTS!👍

And the Holy Father’s vestments were beautiful as well! His homily was excellent too.👍

I can’t wait for the pictures to come out!😃

LONG LIVE THE POPE (AND HIS MASTER OF CEREMONIES)!!!
 
I admit to not being fully converted to the idea of wearing a lace alb under a cope, but otherwise:

Honestly, how many people one year ago would ever have imagined this would happen? And this is nothing yet. Imagine what we’ll be seeing next year, God willing…😃

I am earnestly awaiting what our new Marini will have in store for us at Christmas, though, a great present would be full a Papal Mantle, Fanon, Falda…
