Rumors have been around on this matter for about 12 years. Little new is forthcoming. I’ll believe it when I see it happen, but one never knows. But it is extremely unlikely that the TAC will bring as many as 500,000 to Rome, if it does.

This is “old” news. TAC ever so often releases news like this, but the fruit is not there. The ArchBishop and mainly others in leadership are pushing. The laity is not getting all the answers they want.

The ACA, the US branch, is not positive as the ArchBishop. Also, Rome in its offical correspondence has not really said, “come on home.” Matter of fact Rome gives mixed messages.

Some Anglican groups and news/opinion groups have researched this issue. As GKC stated, it has been ongoing for 12 years. I watched a new article on a Catholic station (EWTN?) a bit over a year ago stating much of what this article stated.

Will it happen? I am sure some will go, but not 500,000. Will be interesting to watch this continued talk for the next 500 years.😃

And one or two days later, from the Vatican we get…What?:ehh:

Bishop George from the TAC or the ACA (US Verison) tells us, it is a rumor. Just like in 2005.

Check out the continuum blogs and strangely the TAC website never mention this great event. At least I did not see it and that was the first place I viewed when it was mentioned here.

Sorry, no 500,000 Anglicans taking a swim today. While it could be a good thing, it must be remembered: unnamed sources are good for journalism…not good on presenting facts just rumor.
