So, yesterday my roomate texted me, asking me if it would be okay if her boyfriend came over for the night. I had always told her before it would be okay before, so I texted back and said yes, but neglected to ask when he would be coming over. So when I went back to our room to unlock it and go rest, as I was achy and had a slight fever, the door had been chained shut (I don’t even want to think about what they were doing). She opened it for me and apologized. I had always told them before they could have “time to themselves” if they wanted, but that particularly evening I was sick and really needed to rest. She and her boyfriend slept in the same bed while I slept in mine not five feet away.

But early in the morning, she left for work. And, to my surprise, her boyfriend stayed behind. Now I’m sitting here in a small dorm room with a guy I just met yesterday.

Should I be uncomfortable with this:blush: ?

Should I be uncomfortable with this ?

He’s the one who invaded YOUR room. HE should be uncomfortable.

Kick him out. It’s your place. Your friend should know better too. She should make sure he left before or when she did. She should also consult you if someone is going to hang around so long. It’s not a great situation. I have a similiar prob where I live except I’m a man so it’s not much of a worry for me. The others say their christians but don’t accept Jesus’ teachings on adultery because it’s inconvenient. Just make sure you don’t condone your friends behaviour and try to help her sort herself out with God. Isn’t the world screwed up now.

they are misbehaving yet you are the one feeling uncomfortable? get a new roommate.

Yes, if you are a girl.

You don’t know this guy from Adam. He might be very nice or very dangerous.

If you are a 300lb weight trained wrestler with a hard nosed attitude to anyone invading your space, scratch that. But surely then you wouldn’t be posting this. I’m guessing you’re about the size of my right leg(I look like a bouncer).

Get friend(s) over. Get rid of him. Don’t let your friend make you feel uncomfortable again. Let her know how you feel.

I would have felt uncomfortable too, I live in a dorm room too and I would find it very awkward if I was left alone with a guy I barely knew, friend’s boyfriend or not. Once his girlfriend is gone, there’s no reason for him to stay. Maybe your friend just didn’t realize how that would feel for you, so the best thing to do is to tell her so it doesn’t happen again.
