Is it an Easter tradition to repeat the Glorious Mysteries during Easter?

I was wondering the same thing. I was wondering if I should say the traditional Sorrowful Mysteries today since it’s Tuesday, or should I skip the Sorrowful Mysteries this week? I don’t know, it somehow seems wrong to avoid meditating on the Passion, even during Easter!

I was wondering the same thing today. I searched the net just a bit, and I couldn’t find anything. I think that you should pray the mysteries that you are most drawn to today, since we are under no obligation to pray any of them on any certain day. For instance, I prayed the sorrowful mysteries all last week in honor of Holy Week.

There’s no right or wrong way to pray the Rosary really.

Some choose to stick to the Sorrowful mysteries for the whole of Lent, in which case it makes sense to stick to the Glorious for the whole of Eastertide (which goes until Pentecost) and probably the Joyful during Advent and the Christmas season to even things up.

But if EVERY Sunday, even those during Lent, is a ‘little Easter’ then really every Friday is a little ‘Good Friday’ or penitential day, and so on.

I hear what you’re saying… and this is understandable. But I think if making those variations within a communal rosary, it should at least be announced or agreed upon first by it’s participants… in the spirit of consideration to all participants, if not praying a rosary that belongs just to oneself anyway.
