hi all,im making one decade rosaries,i was hoping there was a market for them as well as giving them as gifts,if anyone knows who might need one decade rosaries, please let me know, god bless all, nettiel:thumbsup:

:)thank you how big are they?what are they made ofand how many beads?i would love to know, maybe i can make them, thank you nettiel:thumbsup:

Typically they are knotted, not beadworks; 33, 50, 100, and 103 knots are the common sizes, tho’ not the only ones.

Typically also, beads are used as dividers on longer Chotkis.

thank you,im still working on making knots.what else are they made from?👍

Here’s an instructional video:

It’s insanely difficult though. They’re really only made with wool yarn or nylon(silk) floss. I’ve seen some made with wooden beads, but the idea is for them not to make noise (and be distracting) so I don’t really think that’s a very good way to go. Prayer ropes are typically made in monasteries and sold to help the communities so generally lay persons leave it to them. 🤷
