This is a community rosary thread for the needs of ALL forum members, their families, friends, and for ALL intentions placed in the [Prayer Intentions Forum (http://forums.catholic-questions.org/forumdisplay.php?f=86).

All members of the CAF community are invited and encouraged to pray with us whenever they wish. Please jump in! For an explanation on how often one may post in Prayer Intentions, please see here.

How To Post in the Rosary Thread
For an explanation of how to pray the rosary, please see here.

Please include at the top of each post which Mystery is being prayed as well as a count for which Hail Mary(s) you are praying within the decade.

The format that has been established for the perpetual rosary is as follows:
  • The Joyful Mysteries
  • The Luminous Mysteries
  • The Sorrowful Mysteries
  • The Glorious Mysteries
    Optional Practices
    The Fatima Prayer
Some people choose to include the Fatima Prayer at the end of each decade after the Glory Be. This is optional and depends on personal preference.
Pictures
New pictures may be placed at the start of each Mystery. Please be considerate of those on slow Internet connections and do not place pictures more frequently. When beginning a new Mystery just copy and paste the image from another already on the thread or you may choose one of your own. The images must be smaller than 400 pixels high and 400 pixels wide. They must also be appropriate for our participants who are as young as age 13, so no graphic imagery. Lastly, they must not pose a copyright concern. If in doubt, leave it out.
Posting Pictures & AttachmentsPhoto Editing Instructions Personal Intentions
If you would like to make a very short list of personal intentions that are not included in the Prayer Intentions forum already, you may place it at the top or bottom of a post. Please do not repeat intentions or make long lists of intentions. Please do not explain the intention, either. Short, sweet, and to the point.

Thread Completion
All threads are closed at 1,000 posts to aid in searching as well as downloading. When a Mystery is completed close to the 1,000 post mark, do the following.
    • Open a new rosary thread.
    • Place this same post as the first post in the new thread.
    • Go to the old thread and post a link to the new thread.
    • Use the PM or BPR feature to alert the moderator to the old thread that needs to be closed.
    • Start the new Mystery in the new thread and continue praying.
Now that we’ve covered the basics, let’s start praying. If any questions remain, please contact the forum moderator

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

The Apostle’s Creed

I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of Heaven and earth; and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, Our Lord, Who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified; died, and was buried. He descended into Hell; the third day He arose again from the dead; He ascended into Heaven, sitteth at the right hand of God, the Father Almighty; from thence He shall come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy Catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.

Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name; Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen

For an increase of virtues of faith, Hope, and Charity.
Hail Mary, full of grace. The Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death, Amen.
