Hi everyone. I decided to enter into full communion with the Catholic Church last spring and am currently enrolled in the RCIA program at my church. Throughout my journey, I’ve found the rich treasury of prayers handed down to us through the Church to be a source of inspiration and guidance, particularly the rosary. As a member of an evangelical, Baptist family, my conversion process has been a difficult one, but rewarding nonetheless. My main intention when I pray the rosary is for the conversion of my family to the Catholic Church. I was wondering if anyone here knew of specific prayers that corresponded to the mysteries of the rosary that dealt with praying for the conversion of others. I’m really sorry if this thread is off-topic or has been posted once before. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Well, the mystery of finding the Child Jesus in the temple is a good one to pray for conversions.

Welcome to CAF and Home, BennyBoy89!

God bless you on your journey!

If we think more about the conversion of oneself - what needs to have for one to accept the truth, we can say that all of the mysteries can be used to pray for the conversion of someone.

You can look at the fruits of each mystery and see how each one can help you convert to Catholic. It will then give you an idea how to pray for your family.

For a few example: the fruit of the first mysteries of the Joyful ones is Humility. How humility helps you to accept the Truth, to follow the Church? The fruit of the second one is Love for your neighbor. While someone considers Catholic as Christian, others don’t. How could one convert to Catholic if he hates or thinks wrong about a Catholic. Loving a Catholic as a Christian can somehow help him see more truth.

Another examples: we honor Virgin Mary and we ask Her to bring our love ones to Jesus. She is doing this all the time. She is the Queen of Heaven.

Don’t forget to live your life as a Christian, that can help people too!
