Rosary Intentions?

I’ve been praying the rosary for a while now and I’ve always wondered…When do we state our intentions? Do we do it before we start or at the end?

I have also wondered if there can be more than one intention?

After the first Our Father (first decade). And yes, there can absolutely be more than one intention.

I always say this prayer before I begin the Creed and include my intentions then:

Queen of the Holy Rosary you have deigned to come to Fatima to reveal to the three shepherd children the treasures of grace hidden in the Rosary. Inspire my heart with a sincere love of this devotion, in order that by meditating on the Mysteries of our Redemption which are recalled in it, I may be enriched with its fruits and obtain peace for the world, the conversion of sinners and of Russia, and the favors which I ask you in this Rosary (here mention your intentions) I ask these for the greater glory of God, for your own honor, and for the good of all souls, especially of my own. Amen.

When I pray the Rosary using the Pope Benedict XVI rosary CD I think about the intentions in silence and then when the Holy Father recite Deus in adjutorium meum intende I just offer my request to God.
