In, “the Secret of the Rosary” or something like that, St. Alphonsus Liguori often talks about praying the rosary daily-- and what he means is praying the full rosary daily, that is, all 15 mysteries (at the time).
Are you thinking of St. Louis de Montfort? He’s the one who wrote that particular title. (By the way, if anyone wants a copy, PM me; I have a stack on hand.) If St. Alphonsus Ligouri wrote a book about the Rosary, that’s good news to me. (I just read an excerpt from his book about the necessity of prayer.)
Personally, I think that’s a bit much.
Only if the Rosary becomes a chore. I wish I could do all the mysteries every day. It would take me 1.5-2 hours. It takes me 25-30 minutes to pray five decades.

Yes, you are right. St. Louis de Montfort. So many saints, so little time. 🙂

Yes. Same here. Except I rarely want to pray it multiple times per day. Whatever leads someone’s heart to love God… they should do that.

MSParrott…since you enjoy the rosary, you might especially like to read
Rosary: Mysteries, Meditations and the Telling of the Beads
by Kevin Orlin Johnson, PhD.

It’s the best book on the rosary I’ve ever read and one of the best Catholic books I’ve ever read!
