Rosary repair

I wasn’t sure of where to ask this question, but does anyone know of a place that repairs rosaries?. I have one that I received at my confirmation that has a bead missing. It has square wooden beads and I have seen any others like it anywhere.

I got some materials and tools from this site and made my own rosary. A 15 decade, Carmelite habit rosary. No I am not a Carmelite, but it is a beautiful rosary.
 
most jewelers used to repair rosaries for free, at least where I grew up, we have an order of nuns who makes rosaries, and we send them old and broken ones, including fragments, which they repair and make into new ones for the missions.
 
Sometimes you can find a new-agey shop or one of those places catering to the junior high crowd that proffer a variety of beads that you can try to match.

Aside: My bride gave me a beautiful hematite rosary of which I am fond – It has a great “manly” weight to it. Anyway: after a number of public recitations where I (to my shame) mentally noted some leaders who couldn’t count, I finally realized the fault was my own – Only 9 *aves *on my third “decade”! :ouch: 😊 I found a similar sized hematite bead in a new-agey shop and all was remedied – They even inserted the bead at no charge, IIRC.

What part of Georgia are you in ? There is a shop in the CSRA that does free repairs. lLet me know if you need directions.
 
CSRA- Central Savannah River Area. It’s about 12 counties on both sides of the river. We were in Bainbridge when the Flint flooded. So far the Savannah has behaved. Good luck with your rosary.
