Hi, everyone.
I want to teach my students the correct way to pray the Rosary, but there are quite divergent practices in the Church. A quick internet search reveals differences which, while not world-ending, are enough to be confusing.
For example, one priest on You Tube did not make mention of the Fatima Prayer, yet my instructor insisted it was in there.
Here’s how I was taught recently: (just the order of the prayers, not the intentions of the Pope or the mysteries at this stage).
CRUCIFIX: Creed
Our Father (on the single bead)
Three Hail Marys
Glory Be/Fatima/Our Father (on the next single bead)
Ten Hail Marys
Glory Be/Fatima/Our Father (on the next single bead)
and so on, back to the “junction” of the beads.
Is this the version in your neck of the woods? Any suggestions?
