What do you meditate on when you say the mystery of the Scourging? What about the mystery of the Assumption of Mary?

When I pray the Scourging I always think of how much pain Jesus was in, yet he still forgave his persecutors and endured that for us.

When I pray the Assumption I ask Mary to pray for me that I might have the grace of a holy death with all the Sacraments.

Jesus being flogged.

Mary in brown being drawn up to Heaven although it mixes between her lying down and sitting.

Scourging: I meditate on his suffering, unwarranted and vicious. I reflect on the victims of violence in the world. I reflect on my own suffering at the hands of others and thank God that I have it so good. I ask for the strength to endure the suffering and offer it up as penance for my part in my Lord’s suffering.

Assumption: I meditate on Our Blessed Mother, having completed her work here on earth, passing peacefully into sleep and her being raised, body and soul to heaven. Awaiting the recreation of this earth by the Holy Spirit. Sometimes with hands in prayer, other times with her arms open, calling us, het children. It’s so moving, that sometimes I vsn feel my skin get warmed, as if in the sun from the glow of God’s eternal love through Nuestra Seňora.

I often do a ‘Guided Rosary’ which I have on CD and downloaded onto my ipod…

It’s "The Rosary’ Fr. Kevin Scallon c.m. and Dana… Dana sings a beautiful verse between decades… Fr. Scallon, describes the decade to be meditated upon…

It’s 2 cd pack which includes the Luminous mysteries.

Thank you for your responses. I was able to put many to use this morning.
