i was wondering if i can still pray the rosary?
Sorry if i have posted this in the wrong place

  1. Yes you are allowed to post here.
  2. Yes, you are also allowed to say the Rosary. I’m a little surprised you feel comfortable doing so as a Baptist however.

You can do anything a practicing Catholic does, except receive the sacraments, and that is just a confession away.

I love that you still want to! I can’t see why anyone wouldn’t be able to pray the rosary. Our Blessed Mother loves everyone of us and wants us to ask her for her help. If your soul is yearning for you to pray a rosary, then I say answer the call!

And just to add, I really don’t see why you wouldn’t be able to post on this website. It’s called Catholic answers, it’s not just for catholics. If you have questions, or just feel the need to talk- this is a safe place to do so. I think as long as you’re respectful and not rude- everyone will be happy to have you on here:)

Keep praying the Rosary. No harm has ever come from prayer - especially the Rosary.

There is no such thing as an ex-Catholic. If you were baptised a Catholic then you remain a Catholic forever. That does not change even if you turn your back on the Church.
There are only two types of Catholic - those in a state of grace and those in a state of mortal sin.

As a Baptist before my conversion, I prayed the rosary often. I sought solace in the arms of our blessed virgin

The Rosary is a 100% Scriptural prayer so I don’t see how any non-Catholic Christian could object to it.
