When praying the rosary in between decades can you add other prayers besides the one requested by our lady In Lourdes?
 
Yes, you may. There is the beautiful 54-day Rosary Novena that add a short prayer. I posted it in 2014 (see forums.catholic-questions.org/showthread.php?t=864248 if you want) . There is also a “meditation Rosary” in which there is a meditation (a very short Biblical sentence) after each Hail Mary. In addition, different countries might pray the Rosary in different ways.

I was wrong the Virgin mary actually aked us to say that prayer in between decades at Fatima
 
An additional prayer that the Marian Movement of Priest recites after the Fatima prayer is
“Come Holy Spirit. come by means of the powerful intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, your well beloved spouse.”

So, yes, you may pray additional prayers between decades. Just don’t add too many. I personally only pray the two. Any more would be too many.
I have prayed with groups that simply sing “Ave, Ave, Ave Regina” after the Fatima prayer, as a way to keep the rosary at a meditative pace.
