Rosary

I was wondering if it’s ok to pray the rosary how I remember being taught (changed up a little since I started praying it more often) as opposed to how it says online and booklets.
I don’t say the Apostles Creed, I start with the sign of the cross then the Our Father, three Hail Marys, Glory Be.
On the large bead I say the Our Father, Glory Be, and Oh, My Jesus, Forgive Us Our Sins (or whatever it’s called). Etc.
At the end I pray a Hail, Holy Queen.

Is this ok since the rosary is a private devotion?

That’s fine, the operative word is a private devotion! I just do the Apostles Creed once a day, early in the morning, then decades as I can during the day. May your devotions bear fruit!.
Any way you do it!

Yes, it’s a private devotion as you say. You are not required to do it any certain way.

You’re fine. Remember to meditate, if you can (suggested mysteries, or scripture verses, or whatever events of the lives of Jesus and Mary come to mind–your choice). Say your prayers slowly, with feeling. Make it last a half hour or more. Enjoy.

That is ok I think as we all have different ways of praying the Rosary. I recently visited the Vatican and purchased a Rosary that came with a booklet. It said to start with an invocation:

Lord, come to my assistance, God make haste to help me, Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, Amen

Then, Our Father, 3 Hail Mary’s, 1 Glory Be, Then another Our Father.

Then 10 Hail Marys for each decade followed by the Glory Be and a Fatima Prayer.

After all 5 mysteries are done you pray The Hail Holy Queen.

After that the Litany of Loreto.

Because I got this at the Vatican I changed my old way of praying the Rosary because I think this is the “official way” (because it is from the Vatican lol).

I think anyway is ok but that is my way.
