A Prayer to St. Jude

Most holy apostle, St. Jude, faithful servant and friend of Jesus, the Church honors and invokes you universally, as the patron of hopeless cases, of things almost despaired of.

Pray for me, I am so helpless and alone. Make use I implore you, of that particular privilege given to you, to bring visible and speedy help where help is almost despaired of.

Come to my assistance in this great need that I may receive the consolation and help of heaven in all my necessities, tribulations, and sufferings, particularly for Ross and his family, and that I may praise God with you and all the elect forever.

I promise, O blessed St. Jude, to be ever mindful of this great favor, to always honor you as my special and powerful patron, and to gratefully encourage devotion to you.

Thankyou to each of you for your prayers.
The latest news on Ross is that he is living back with his mother at present, Ross had been living in care with a social worker overseeing his care.
Ross turned 18 recently and I hope and pray things worl well with him living back with his mother. Ross has suffered terribly. His parents live apart and his mother has not been able to show love to Ross and he has felt unloved and unwanted.
My sister remains in contact with him.

Lord please hear our prayers for Ross.He has been hurt emotionally so badly in his life and is suffering from rejection and many other issues.He is now back in his care home and I pray he will be safe and those in care of him can and will help him to feel cared for and secure and safe.Please comfort him and guide him and those around him to help him in every way that he needs.I pray that he will not feel driven to this drastic act again.He is so young and vulnerable and my neice and sister are in his life now, but I pray he will get the proper support he needs to move into adulthood safely and securely. Please tell Ross that he has a lot of people thinking of him (don’t know how much he would appreciate the “Praying” part) and wanting and wishing the best for him!! my son is 17 and comes from a broken home;( yet I make sure he knows he is Loved! Ross needs to know that someone cares for him!! Ideally his mother. know one should feel alone in this world!!

Dear Nikita thankyou for your prayers and thoughts…really appreciated. It is so sad when family breakdown happens and children perhaos may feel unwanted or unloved. I no longer have direct contact with Ross byt my sister remains in contact with him.He is back living with his mother…things had been very worrying with that situation previously.Ross had not been living with his mother or father but in care. I pray his mother and father are able to show him love…he needs it as you rightly say. You are a good parent who clearly loves your son.You are a blessing and I knwow how hard things can be.

Much THANKS AND BLESSINGS TO YOU AS WELL’ Here is mine for Ross- Father God I pray for Ross who is in most need of your peace in his heart I pray that he will be able to acknowledge your son the Christ as his savior for he can give his heart healing like no other. Father you sent your son to heal us and forgive us for our sins. You did not give us the spirit of fear but of love and a shield of strength to hold up in any situation. Please I beseech thee protect Ross and give him peace of mind and soul, fill him with you much needed LOVE. Put your hands on him and let him know you are always with him that he never walks alone as long as he holds faith Jesus will be with him all the way. In the precious name of Jesus I pray, Amen, Amen for Ross I pray AMEN!
