RSV2CE - Any Support Materials?

I just bought my RSV2CE. It’s an impressive volume for sure but is there any:

software version
audio version
anything for my PDA

This is the 21st-century. If this bible is going to be my No.1 primary bible I’d really like these support materials too!

How about “support material” that consists of:
  • better page layout
  • extensive cross-references that are visible to the naked eye
  • more and in-depth book introductions
  • study notes that are of a theological, archaeological, geopgraphical, historical, linguistic nature that are all in one volume with the biblical text itself (not distributed over numerous volumes)
  • emend the text a bit more to accord with Catholic doctrine
Here’s an idea: maybe they could emulate what the folks who produced the JB/NJB did.
 
I could e-mail you the RSV and the NRSV for e-sword if you want, but they lack the Deuterocanonicals, so I guess they aren’t exactly the Catholic edition (the text is the same, I think, in both versions; this one simply lacks 7 Books). Other than that, I know of nothing.

For PDA version go to olivetree.com/. They have a Catholic Collection of bible translations including the RSV, olivetree.com/store/product.php?productid=16874. The software has been around quite a while and works very well.

For your computer I suggest purchasing “Welcome to the Catholic Church” by Harmony Media: harmonymedia.com/. For $100 you get the RSV and NAB along with the Catechism and many other church documents hyperlinked together. It’s an excellent resource.

If money is no object, you can buy Logos or similar products which are written by, and primarily geared to, protestants. But, the software is very powerful and you can buy Catholic books to run in it. It’s very expensive though.

I’d appreciate an audio suggestion myself. I only have one audio scripture and it’s the TaNaK, all in Hebrew. Very beautiful to listen to, but probably not what you’re looking for right now.
 
Thanks, Truarchs. My local Catholic bookshop has the “Welcome to the Catholic Church” by Harmony Media @ half price. I think this is because something newer is coming out soon but at £25 it’s a bargain.
