Are there rubrical books that detail the actions of the altar servers? Specifically I’m looking for the thurifer at a priestly ordination in the Ordinary Form.
The official rubrics are in the official liturgical books, like the Roman Missal, Ceremonial of Bishops and Rite of Ordination. People have written books for training altar servers, such as Ministry at the Altar (ISBN 0855742038, published 1980, Editor Peter Elliott) and Serve God with Gladness (by David Philippart, published by LTP, 1998, ISBN 1568541511).
