**Psalm 2 is one of the main reasons Christ was crucified. The Jews could not see that the light wasn’t as Zeus, the light doesn’t hoard itself over men. And on that day of God’s Wrath, when the one with the rod of iron stands up in the holy place, it will be none other than the abomination of desolation, and in that day no one will worship the Hebrew God the way they did before, not even the Hebrews. Blessed are those who wait!

Jesus saith unto her at the well, “Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father. Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews. But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.”**

Please don’t be offended by this question but why do you talk in such a strange way? You are writing in correct English but what you say is almost incomprehensible. Nobody talks this way in a normal conversation.

I write more in the stream of conscience style from my lack of having acquired an edumucation. 😃

Also thistle, I have been a hermit all the days of my existence, and trapped in the nut house for several years, if this gives a relative slap on the forehead with the synchronized thought of ‘now I understand’, I wouldn’t be the slightest bit offend, as even I admit to being quite an odd duck. 😃

Clovis, why do you think Psalm 2 is one of the reasons the Jews killed Christ?
Why do the nations protest and the peoples grumble in vain?*** 2 *** Kings on earth rise up and princes plot together against the LORD and his anointed:*** 3 ****** “Let us break their shackles and cast off their chains!”****** 4 ****** The one enthroned in heaven laughs; the Lord derides them,****** 5 ****** Then speaks to them in anger, terrifies them in wrath:****** 6 ****** “I myself have installed my king on Zion, my holy mountain.”****** 7 ****** I will proclaim the decree of the LORD, who said to me, “You are my son; today I am your father.****** 8 ****** Only ask it of me, and I will make your inheritance the nations, your possession the ends of the earth.****** 9 ****** With an iron rod you shall shepherd them, like a clay pot you will shatter them.”****** 10 ****** And now, kings, give heed; take warning, rulers on earth.****** 11 ****** Serve the LORD with fear; with trembling bow down in homage, Lest God be angry and you perish from the way in a sudden blaze of anger. Happy are all who take refuge in God!***

It is my idea that the Hebrews believe the messiah a ruler who would enforced with violence and dominion a sort of Isiahian justice across Israeli, of all the world.

I don’t know though, just an idea? 🤷

Since we’re throwing idea’s out… 🙂

I always assumed the Israeli’s were looking for a military ruler that could conquer the rest of the world, in the similar manner as Alexander the Great.

Knowing how hard it is to feed an army (what’s the saying, an army marches on it’s belly?), can you imagine how excited the Zealots were when they saw Jesus feed the multitudes with five loaves. The possibilities would have been endless. Well their excitement would have soon turned to disappointment when they listened to one of his Sermons on the Mount.
