Hi there,
Before when I was looking into the Byzantine Rite I saw a site where they have both a morning rule of prayer and an evening rule of prayer. I was very much enamored by this.
However, I am not too much enamored with the Byzantine service. I was wondering if the Roman Catholic Rite has a rule of prayer, per se.
One of my favorite things about my conversion process has been the incredible prayers which I have read (and prayed) from the saints and religious.
If there is no rule of prayer for the Roman Rite, was there one prior to Vatican II? If so, any information on it would be GREATLY appreciated!
Thanks,
Mark
