We have a similar situation. Two kids baptized Lutheran but both parents are cradle Catholics, baptized as infants. I have no idea why they baptized the kids Lutheran, maybe they were away from the Church for awhile. Anyway the kids have been in Catholic school since Kdg. One kid even made FIrst Communion with her class. It was only just discovered where they were baptized (most likely the fault of a school secy who didn’t check the baptismal certificates well). Anyway, we are now arranging them to make a profession of faith and then just keep things as they are. For all intents and purposes they have been raised as Catholic. No need to go through RCIA.
