I play RS a bit too.Well in Runescape which is my favorite MMO gamethere are gods most notably Saradomin and Zamorak. And you can pray to them, have their armour,… But you pray to them so they can assist you when fighting other players. It is purely fiction. Nobody would even consider that someone would worship these gods. So does that contradict my faith?
That’s a valid point, worth taking to consideration (and I practice it myself; I have quit such games multiple times and only play them to a very small extent) but the question of this thread is on the content, not the game itself.I don’t think so, but we are seeing that such games can have a lot of potential for addiction and I would be careful how much time you spend with it. Though we don’t like to think of it, Augustine is noted for having said that often times, complete abstinence is actually easier than perfect moderation. If you do feel you are becoming engrossed with these game, I would try doing away with them entirely and replacing them with something else. It’s counter-intuitive to your immediate wants, but you might be surprised how much more fulfilled you feel.
YOU REALLY HAVE TO TALK TO YOUR PRIEST. Every thread you start is asking if something is a sin! We’ve all said this to you in many threads. Scrupulosity will make your life miserable. Talking to your priest is the way forward.Well in Runescape which is my favorite MMO gamethere are gods most notably Saradomin and Zamorak.
