Rush Limbaugh named 'personality of the year'

I like Rush. He has his own unique way of presenting the “facts”. He said something that upset me one day. He was talking about babies and said that he has never seen a good looking baby: big heads, etc. He went on to say that he has never had any of his own. I calmed down a bit when he said that as children grow they become better looking. As a grandmother of many beautiful children, he hit my hot button, but then I decided not to take it personally, after all, he has never had the good fortune of seeing my grandbabies!😃

I see you live in Mentor on the Lake? I hail from Northeast Ohio too, and my travels definitely take me to your neck of the woods.

And yes, I’ve been a member of Rush 24/7 and a subscriber to the Limbaugh Letter for years.

Furthermore, I credit Rush Limbaugh with helping my dad recover from a massive stroke. In the hospital, listening to Rush’s voice was in itself a comfort to him during times of pain. And when it was claimed that his attention span would no longer allow him to read as he once did, I continued to insist that dad receive the Limbaugh Letter, to enjoy on whatever level, as best he could … My father has since recovered his reading ability to the point where he’s researched, written, and made actual scholastic contributions to the historical knowledge base concerning our family’s genealogy.

Jim Rome is on at the same time as Rush here, and I listen to him. But I wouldn’t listen to Rush if he was unopposed.
 
I listen to Rush, and also to Bill O’Reilly. I am also a member of 24/7 and get the Limbaugh Letter. Lately I’ve not had much of a chance to listen to Rush because work has been so busy and I haven’t had much free time after work. But Rush is definitely right about so many things. I don’t always agree with him, but he has said some things that have made me think, long and hard, about what I really believe in life and, of course, politically. He changed me from a liberal, to an independent who leans conservative (socially I consider myself a conservative).

Congrats to Rush on this honor. He’s still the best!. 👍
