So I was in Confession and after a few minutes the priest said he had to go because Mass was about to start. I had written past sins that I didn’t quite remember confessing along with those I planned to confess. I asked him if I could just confess those I planned to and not the past ones and he said ok. So I quickly scanned my list and said those I found and felt needed to be confessed. It was all rather rushed and now that I remember I missed the first sin that had required me to go to Confession, which was rather serious. Like I said, it was rushed and I felt weird after the Confession. So…any thoughts?

If this has been answered in another thread can someone please direct me there?

Thanks and God Bless

Yes. ALL of your sins are forgiven. Receive the Eucharist and the next time that you need to go to confession confess that sin that you needed to confess. Absolution cannot be partial. You are absolved of all of your sins unless you intentionally refused to confess a serious sin which was not the case here. So, not to worry. Next time maybe check the Mass schedule so as to allow more time for your confession…Peace…teachccd 🙂
