I feel sure this has been amply covered here, so can someone direct me to a discussion thread on the subject? For many reasons, my daughter and her fiance’ have chosen March 13 as their wedding date. I know I’ll need to talk to the parish priest about this, but I’d like a little feedback before I even make the call tomorrow morning.

Also—my daughter is Episcopalian, her fiance’ and his family (and I) are Catholic. Should she decide on a Catholic service, what role can her Episcopal priest play? If the service os Episcopalian, what will be the Catholic co-celebrant’s role?

Obviously there will be no Communion, as she would not be able to receive the Sacrament in a Catholic church (although Groom could in hers…)

Help!

These links should be helpful for understanding why there is no intercommunion with non-Catholics.
