Sacrament of Reconciliation and Eucharist

Does anyone noticed that the sacrament of reconciliation is closely connected to the Eucharist? We confess our sins to God (using the priest as his instrument) to forgive our sins, so that we may be made worthy to received the Blessed Lord in the Blessed Sacrament.

I just realized that after reading St. Faustina’s Diary.
 
Indeed! It is a wonderful relationship. You should check out the new apostolic exhortation (Sacramentum Caritatis) for a nice commentary on the connection.
