Sacrament of Reconcilliation

I was doing a google search for a good examination of conscience guide for adults, and stumbled across the following article.

I pasted the following paragraph from the article because I thought it summed up the sacrament in such a beautiful way.

In the Sacrament of Reconciliation Jesus announces to us, through the Church and its ministers, that our sins are forgiven and that we are loved by God. We hear the voice of Christ: “Go in peace, your sins are forgiven.” This is what Jesus does. This is his gift of reconciliation.*

The most complete and thorough one I’ve found is in the Apostolate For Family Consecration’s book called “Preparation for Total Consecration to Jesus through Mary for Families”. Which is available @ [ It also is a great way to start doing the family Rosary together.
