What impact does the shift have on our personal and communal understanding of the Sacrament of Reconciliation

Do you mean the change in leaving the Confessional and making your Confession face to face or along with others in General Absolution?
 
I think he means “the significant shift in understanding of the Sacrament of Anointing since the Second Vatican Council.” Y’know, from his previous post.
