I know of a mother who was told she was in danger of having a miscarriage because the placenta was seperating from the uterus. She was on bedrest, and was in very intense pain. She decided to have a priest come and perform the sacrament of the sick. She said that after he left the pain also left, and the remaining 5 months of her pregnancy were completely normal and pain free. The child went on to be born completely normal without any complications.
My question is…if in recieving the sacrament of the sick all of our sins are forgiven, does this then mean that her child was born without any sin?
