I’m a bit confused about this Order.
The Holy See issued a clarification about the Orders of Knighthood that it supports m.youtube.com/watch?v=BmLnRx9lqBI but this Constantinian Order isn’t one of them.
It advertises itself as a Catholic Order of Chivalry. Bishops and Cardinals have been granted membership (Cardinals Hoyos and Martino are both members). The Ecclesiastical Tailor Barbiconi sells its insignia alongside the Vatican-recognised Orders. Yet that clarification from the Holy See would seem to imply that it’s not even a legitimate Order.
Can anyone shed some light on this?
