Today there are 33,000 denominations with 28,000 sub denominations. That is 61,000 denominations since 1517AD. OK?

They have around 1,375 doctrines and dogmas! OK?

All the Denominations and their doctrines and dogmas partially agree with the CC and all of them partially disagree with the CC. OK?

Since 1517, these 61,000 denominations, have developed like a cancerous growth on the Body of Christ. Think of it 61,000 denominations, practicing 1,375 different doctrines and conflicting dogmas and all attempt to “save” souls from what? What is their common enemy? I will tell you: The first “real” Church established by Jesus! They continue to attack God’s “real” church. Be truthful, doesn’t your church do that? They all do. Why?

Do you know the catholic church doesn’t teach anything but to love others and guide them into the real church. Ask any Catholic if you want, ask them to swear. I will tell you that that is true, So help me God!

Ask your preacher about any denomination you want and ask him why their teachings are faulty. He should say because the “Devil makes them do it!” or “they are misguided.”

I ask you, who can be trusted as the correct church to follow?

I, my self, say the “first” one. The one that Jesus himself started. The one He said the HS would protect from error. He even warned us to avoid false prophets and teachers.That was 1, 500 years before the first false teachers came. He said to remain firm in our faith. We have done so for “2,000 years”.

You realize that you can “copy” or “make” money but if it doesn’t have the backing of the authorized issuer It is worth nothing. Agree?

You can even copy “Christianity”, Learn our prayers, read and change our Bible, call yourself followers of Jesus. But, if your church doesn’t have the backing of the Catholic Church it is only a “counterfeit”. It can’t bring salvation! Why, because the Bible must be interpreted to reveal its truths. Not 1,375 different ways only the one correct way as revealed by the Holly Spirit. Only the CC has that authority from Jesus,“the authorized issuer”

Christian Knight, It is said in Scripture, the Shephards who lead His sheep away are the ones who will be held accountable for those actions. It is not unknown that many have been lead in many directions away from the origin of Christianity. To say otherwise would be less than honest. The idea is for every Christian is to seek the truth. I believe if we are all open to that, the Holy Spirit will guide us. Being closed in mind with prejudice based on a judgmental opinion someone else taught you to live by only clouds the mind from discernment .

I was reading the study --World Christian Encyclopedia by Barrett, Kurian, Johnson (Oxford Univ Press, 2nd edition, 2001). In it he lists a number of different Catholic denominations. Secondly, do you think there are 1375 interpretations of Who Jesus is?

The church teaching will never change, no matter what individuals choose to believe about it. This is true with any faith… You either believe it, agree with it, or you don’t. The Catholic Church, thank the Lord, will not, nor has ever changed her teachings to conform to the whims of society or culture or anything else. Not even the gates of hell.

Yes, there are disobedient Catholics, and people who were baptized Catholic and become protestants, but don’t know it, and Catholics who have become excommunicated, some of them without knowing it. The major difference for Catholics is that we have One faith, one doctrine, One Church, one Lord who is over all. Those that do not adhere to the One Teaching are out of order. This is something that the Protestant communities do not have.

The Catholic church has never interpreted the Bible. There is no such work that tells you what a particular verse or passage means offically or infallibly.

That is like saying "Hemingway never interpreted The Old Man and the Sea. Why would he need to? He wrote it. He understood it.

Catholics read the scripture with the mindset of those who wrote it, so we don’t need a “work that tells what a particular verse or passage means”. This does not become necessary unless someone separates themselves from the infallible traditions of the Church from whence the Scripture was produced.

No not at all. I don’t know you to make such an accusation. But what I was referring to was directed to non-catholics including those who may have been mislead regarding the CC. There are those who have also been specifically taught otherwise as I am sure you are aware. If they allow a negative teaching to cloud their considerations, it does no one any good.

Again, no, I am sorry if I worded that incorrectly. I probably should use more of these smiley faces. My point to you was we are aware of that which we were taught. Regardless of what Christian beliefs we may have. The more you seek the more you will come to realize on your own. I was separated from the Church for many years because I disagreed with some of the church’s teachings. Later I realized it wasn’t the Church’s teachings but my lack of knowledge of my own Faith that was the problem.

**I hope the country is at peace when you do my friend. I served for 27 years. The first four years, I was a Ranger! I was trained to hunt and kill the enemy. I was very good at my job. I had 54 confirmed kills, but probably doubled that. It felt good killing the enemy! Trust me on this one: You cannot be a Godly person and enjoy killing people. Anyway, I was shot and spent 14 months in 3 different hospitals. I avoided church for about three years. I was ashamed, I guess. I needed forgiveness for my actions so finally I went to confession. I was forgiven and rededicated myself to my faith. I pray daily not only for my many dead friends but also for the souls of the soldiers I killed. **

I hope you don’t think I judge you! I would never assume to be able to do that. However, I can tell you that your church is a false church. I can tell you that your beliefs are not totally correct. I can tell you that the devil guides your church. I can tell you that the only way to possess eternal life is to actually eat the body and drink the blood of our lord and savior. Not grape juice and Oreos! Bread and wine changed into the real body and blood of Jesus. You know that feeling that you get when two or more of you are gathered in Jesus’ name? How you feel when He is with you spiritually? How much greater do you think that feeling is when he is physically and spiritually there in front of you? When you consume him and feel his love flow through your body as you are joined with Him at the last Supper and at the Cross! The Bible teaches us those things.
I can’t tell you if you will go to heaven, I don’t know if I will. That is completely up to God. All I can do is attempt to follow his word as interpreted by his real church. I attempt to proclaim my faith practice my beliefs. I am active in my church and my community. I visit the sick, I fed the poor, I do what I can to make the small portion of the world that God has allotted to me a little bit more godly. That is all I can do. **Because the devil is trying to destroy Jesus’ church. He started 500 years ago. Misleading good God fearing people down the road towards eternal damnation. That is explained all throughout the Bible. that you were taught to read but not to correctly understand. Many Protestants attempt to use our scriptures which warn about the devil and his evil ways and point them towards us. This in an feeble attempt to shift guilt onto the real church.The attempt to use our scriptures to prove that “we” are wrong! Now really, how stupid is that? Like we say; " We wrote them"!

Because he has been taught to believe that only his denomination, out of the 61,000 denominations with 1,375 competing doctrines, is the correct church. If not, he is in the wrong faith, or like we like to call it “Business” isn’t he? All Catholic branches believe the same basic beliefs, even after 2,000 years. Wrap your mind around those facts for a scond please. Let them sink into your mind. Don’t just read them. Read them again. Protestants have disagreed over 61,000 times in only 500 years. Who is leading Protestants? Not the Holy Spirit my friend that is apparent!

I hope you don’t think I judge you! I would never assume to be able to do that. However, I can tell you that your church is a false church. I can tell you that your beliefs are not totally correct. I can tell you that the devil guides your church. I can tell you that the only way to possess eternal life is to actually eat the body and drink the blood of our lord and savior. Not grape juice and Oreos! Bread and wine changed into the real body and blood of Jesus. You know that feeling that you get when two or more of you are gathered in Jesus’ name? How you feel when He is with you spiritually? How much greater do you think that feeling is when he is physically and spiritually there in front of you? When you consume him and feel his love flow through your body as you are joined with Him at the last Supper and at the Cross! The Bible teaches us those things.
I can’t tell you if you will go to heaven, I don’t know if I will. That is completely up to God. All I can do is attempt to follow his word as interpreted by his real church. I attempt to proclaim my faith practice my beliefs. I am active in my church and my community. I visit the sick, I fed the poor, I do what I can to make the small portion of the world that God has allotted to me a little bit more godly. That is all I can do. I constantly proclaim love for my Lord and savior Jesus Christ and His Mother the Blessed Mother. I attempt to help others and snatch souls from Satan in Jesus’ name.

I would never be a AR, but a basic R would be great, but I am going to try to be a helicopter pilot which is why I try to make good grades. Killing people is part of war, I accept that, if I am ordered too I will kill, cause I’d rather him be dead then one of my family member’s.

I cannot help their are a lot of denominations. I think you don’t have to be in the RCC to go to heaven, that if you really believen Christ, you will go to heaven, no matter what Affiliation you are.

You don’t know what he was taught my friend, even if you think you do. He has told us that we all should just get along and that no one knows where people go (heaven or hell). He respects others, more then you or I could, cause he has had to deal with some mean people, especially since he works a full-time job outside of preaching as a Fed-Ex Driver. I can tell the devil also influences your church, your church has done things in the name of God that have no real justification. Crusades, Inquisition, Murder of the Templars, shall I go on? Good example: I had a kid on my bus who is the average around here, said that in the bible it said Muslims would be the anti-christ. Naturally, I shrugged his ignorance off as I do everyday, then he went on, I got up and screamed at him that the word Muslim wasn’t around till hundreds of years after it, and even then that the world Muslim is not in the bible, and that he is retarded. He shut up and sat down and didn’t say anything cause he didn’t know that, which is really sad since he thinks himself a person of god and doesn’t know more then a paragraph of the bible.

Or were you brought up to believe reading the same verse at different times can reveal different things to you?
We are brought up that the scripture never changes only our church’s understanding as different facets of the mesage is revealed to us. How? The Holy Spirit guides the church throughout the centuries.

ChristianKnight, I do admire your devotion to the word of God and I wish more people in your age group had the same awareness of His presence. As far as judging is concerned, even you made a judgement when you said, “Question: Why is it, that you guys, seem to be Paranoid about us(protestants) trying to destroy you? Honestly, believe it or not, most of us don’t have a hatred for the RCC…”

My point is we must realize that although we are not to pass judgment on others, we are required by God to recognize those things that are improper which can only be done if you have knowledge of what is proper. In Christianity, the Catholic Church has followed the same doctrines since the beginning for 2000 years. In regard to Protestant faith, the CC does not teach that Protestants are going to hell or all are evil. Yes those who diverted others with knowledge of doing so will answer to God but those who have never known the full teachings of the CC would not be to blame for committing some sin that they did not know was wrong. Yes there have been bad people in the CC that have done wrong and yes they will be or have been judged by God. The Word of Jesus in the Bible itself has warned us that the devil would come at times to attack the Church from within and we all realize that. But God never lied to us and the doctrines of the faith have never been distorted even though at times we may have had such corruption within. Many in some of the Protestant denominations are taught against the CC because their very formation was done against her. But no, we do not believe that everyone in other faiths who do not know Catholic Doctrine will be condemned to hell.

As far as your Pastor is concerned, he may be a very devote Christian and I would not try to take that away from him or suggest otherwise based on my lack of knowledge of the man. There are also many ministers of other faiths who have sought degrees in Theology and Christian studies, which led them to convert to Catholicism after finding out more than they expected to. Its up to each of us to seek the truth and in doing so, the Holy Spirit will guide us in the right direction. That is what we pray for. In the mean time, it is beneficial to all of us to understand the difference between Judgment and discernment. My church hasn’t ever mentioned the word Catholic, in our services in the years I’ve been going their. Honestly, I think your over-reacting what some people like to do as a hobby.

Because they are not judging; that is the prerogative of the Lord. Paul says: “I do not even judge myself!” (I Cor. 4:3)

Jesus judged not I ! Individual people who are Non Catholic Christians, NCC will go to heaven with CCs because of the graces granted the CC by Jesus. He said that what we bind on earth will be bound in heaven.
I can’t judge you. I won’t judge you! YOU! But your church isn’t Jesus’ church. That is a fact! Can you get to heaven through a NCC Church? Yes, IF you follow all the requirements Jesus stated had to be followed to get through the right “gate” into heaven you will get there. It is all in the Bible. Read and ask a Catholic how it it interpreted and you will be OK! How ingrant is it to say I judge YOU when I judge only your religious beliefs? There are 1,375 diferent doctrines that don’t agree with each other! Pray on that fact alone! They all can’t be right~!

Now do you understand why I am worried about your soul? You didn’t even realize that you were being lead to Hell. Do you think I am lying? Read your bible.
