There are 7 Sacraments in the Catholic Church. Baptism, Confirmation, Confession, Holy Orders (becoming a priest or other vowed sister or brother), Annointing the Sick, Matrimony and Eucharist (Holy Communion)
Vowed Sisters or Brothers have nothing to do with the Sacrament of Holy Orders. Deacons, Priests, and Bishops onlyreceive Holy Orders.

I know, I’m sorry I made that mistake. If I’d thought about it more, I’d’ve realized what I had written. But as a person who has only been Catholic for about 6 months, I think the rest of my answers were pretty good.

I havn’t seen the Passion. I make it a point not to see movies with a higher rating than PG I have found that even that is questionable.
When do you use the Rosary?
Can you list the staions of the cross?
The Passion is rated R due to the graphic nature of the violence. I would not hesitate to watch the movie. Historically the punishment inflicted on Christ is accurate, so in my opinion it is a must see so one has a better understanding of the suffering Christ underwent for our salvation.

I have some VERY good friends who are LDS members and said they would not see “The Passion” either because it was rated R. I do understand the reasoning behind it, and am not arguing that you should go see it. Although, I would say if there was only 1 rated R movie to see ever, this would be the one!!! I know for me it brought so much of Christ’s final hours into a more visual reality than simply the reading of the stories.

What would be the purpose of repeating this prayer after confession or does that only happen in the movies?
When Catholics go to confession they are granted absolution (forgiveness) and are also given ‘penance’ - some act or actions to perform to show their sorrow for their sins and reinforce the desire/commitment not to sin again. Often this ‘penance’ takes the form of prayer e.g. children might be told to say three ‘Our Fathers’ and three ‘Hail Marys’ in thanksgiving for God’s forgiveness.

The Hail Mary is from Scripture (Primarily Luke)
The first part “Hail (Mary) full of grace, the Lord is with thee, blessed art thou amongst women”, embodies the words used by the Angel Gabriel sent from God to Mary to announce that she was to have the Saviour inLuke 1:28. The second part, "and blessed is the fruit of thy womb (Jesus
)", is borrowed from the greeting when Marty went to visit her cousin St. Elizabeth (mother of John the Baptist) inLuke 1:42.What would be the purpose of repeating this prayer after confession or does that only happen in the movies?
The same purpose as saying any other part of scripture. As it says in 2 Timothy 3: 16 All scripture, inspired of God, is profitable to teach, to reprove, to correct, to instruct in justice, 17 That the man of God may be perfect.

May God bless and keep you always in His ways.
