I just feel so sad. I don’t know why, but I just can’t stop crying! Please pray for me, someone!

Our Father, Who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy Name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

My prayer for you now and alwys is from St. Patrick:

May the strength of God pilot her ,
The power of God uphold her,
The wisdom of God guide her.
May the eye of God look before her,
The ear of God hear her,
The word of God speak for her,
May the hand of God protect her
The way of God lie before her,
The shield of God defend her,
The host of God save her.

May Christ shield her today…Christ with her, Christ before her, Christ behind her, Christ in her, Christ beneath her, Christ above her, Christ on her right, Christ on her left, Christ when she lies down, Christ when she sits, Christ when she stands.
Christ in the heart of everyone who thinks of her, Christ in the mouth of everyone who speaks of her, Christ in every eye that sees her, Christ in every ear that hears her.

Amen

adapted from St. Patrick’s SHIELD

Holy Spirit, make our lives new by your divine power, that we may live by the light of the resurrection and work in a manner inspired by you. May Christ, our brother, be with us today and every day, now and forever.

I will put your name on my prayer list and daily include you as I say my rosary and go to Mass. Know that Jesus wants nothing more than to be with you always, just invite him into your heart and mind, ask for his help with each task of the day and do even small things with great joy for Him.

Our Father who art in Heaven,
Hallowed be thy Name,
Thy Kingdom come,
Thy Will be done,
On Earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
And forgive us our trespasses,
As we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not in to temptation,
But deliver us from evil.
Amen

Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women
And blessed is the fruit of thy womb - Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
Pray for us sinners now,
And at the hour of our death.
Amen.

Glory be to the Father,
And to the Son,
And to the Holy Spirit.
As it was, in the beginning,
Is now and ever shall be,
World without end.
Amen.

Hello, MVARGH!

By the tone of your sentence, I’m assuming that you’re a female… is this feeling of sadness and despondence something recent? Or is it ongoing?

Every woman in my life (wife, mother, sisters, daughters-in-law, other relatives…) seems to have gone through the situation you’re describing occasionally. I might come home from a particularly stressful day at work and my wife might be sitting by herself in her “needlework chair” (a La-Z-Boy) with a box of Kleenexes next to her. And she would begin sobbing about something stupidly insignificant (in my opinion) and what she really needed was to be held closely and told that I loved her. Support. Reinforcement. Sharing her personal load between the two of us helped a lot. Being told and shown that she wasn’t alone against the world. Soon, she was helping me relax and unwind from my own tiring afternoon, and “the virtual sun” began shining once again.

Can you call someone to just chat? A nearby friend? A relative? A co-worker or a classmate? Just some person to lean upon and help you bear your problems? I don’t know how young you are, but maybe a checkup with the doctor to make sure your innards are functioning would be beneficial… hormonal imbalances can be meanies on someone.

Okay, enough of my oral diarrhea… you asked for some prayer, so from me, prayer you will receive! I won’t type it out, since I assume you probably know the words anyway…
I’m about to say my evening prayers and head to the sack; I’ll pack in a few sincere good words on your behalf. Please try to say a few for yourself, too… “The Lord helps those who help themselves.” 😉

Be sure to tell us that you’re feeling sunny soon! 🙂

A hug from across the ocean.

And I’ll pray for you at morning Mass and Communion.

Lord help me
to remember
that nothing
is going to happen
to me today
that You and I
together can’t handle.

Amen.

Praying for you to receive comfort (and medical attention if needed) …
