Maybe we should push to classify the human fetus and neonate as a different species so that they would get the same protection and care as other primates get from caring zookeepers and animal rights advocates.

Well, pray that our initiative, declaring that “personhood” begins at conception, passes here in Colorado. It’s a start.

Praying hard every day and night,

The primate is a fully developed mammal, a fetus is just cells. You kill cells when u scratch your nose, does that make u a killer?

The primate began as “just cells” to , why do we go to such great lenghts to insure they have an enviroment to breed an grow an we don’t do the same for other members of our own species.

The cells you scratch off your nose are human nose cells, not human life. They won’t become a complete human being in nine months.

I think the AMA has now re-defined ‘conception’ as implantation instead of fertilization. I hope the bill has a definition of the term ‘conception’ as part of the wording.

Fine thats your opinion, as to which cells have more importance, which is why people like me can support abortion and not feel an ounce of guilt no matter how much you people scream murderers!

Everything Claire from DE said in that post was scientific fact, not opinion.

Must See Video For those who are Pro-Abortion

My nose cells are a part of my body. They have the same DNA as the other cells of my body. They are just a part of a complete organism, namely me.

A child in the womb is demonstrably a separate organism from its mother. She has unique DNA from the mothers from the moment of conception. If her DNA is not identical to that of the mother it is scientifically inconceivable for her to be merely “part of the mother’s body.”

Btw, I’LL tell you what is sadly ironic.

It is a bittersweet moment of US history when a black man is finally voted President of the United States and he turns out to be a champion of the principle that an unborn child is nothing but the chattle property of her mother.

THAT is sad irony. We need to have some decent HISTORY classes in the USA.

Aren’t you “just cells” as well, Melbourne Guy? You’re also just a disposable part of the *Almighty State’s *machine, subject to elimination for the Greater Good, according to the All Knowing Social Engineers who invented “Freedom of Choice”. A sucker, in other words.
