Worshippers sickened by carbon monoxide fumes – which is in and of itself bad, no matter who is sickened or under what circumstances –
but, if you read this story, you find that it happened at Kensington Academy, a Roman Catholic day school that had been rented by the Sai Center of Southfield. Having never heard of Sai before, I did some searching online and found this:
About Sai Babba …which seems like a pantheistic swami sort of religion similar to Hinduism. Now, why on earth would a Catholic day school rent itself out to a group like this? Where were the Catholics while they were worshipping idols in their school, who should have been teaching them the truth of Christ instead of this rubbish? As the Church Militant, it is still our job to instruct our brothers and sisters if we see them on the wrong path. Enter through the narrow gate is what we are instructed, and we should be bringing people in with us if we are blessed to be going that way – not allowing them to continue to wallow in error and darkness. Especially not by accepting their money to rent our schools and parish halls for pagan worship. If this is the sort of thing that has ridden in on the coattails of “ecumenism” then we are in big trouble.
