Fr. Dennis Moran CSsR from the Shrine of St. Anne de Beaupre in Quebec is visiting the Detroit area this week. He is bringing a large bone relic of St. Anne from the Basilica. I encourage all of you in the area to attend. I encourage throngs to come. Please take the time to come on this mini pilgrimage.

Sunday, October 22, 2006 - Ste Anne de Detroit Church, Shrine - Detroit
12 Noon Mass, Procession and Veneration of the Relic (This is the sister-shrine to St. Anne de Beaupre)

Monday, October 23, 2006 - St. Angela - Roseville
7:00 PM Mass, Candlelight Procession and Veneration of the Relic

Tuesday, October 24, 2006 - St. Albert the Great - Dearborn Heights
7:00 PM Mass, Candlelight Procession and Veneration of the Relic

Wednesday, October 25, 2006 - St. Regis - Bloomfield Hills
7:00 PM Mass, Candlelight Procession and Veneration of the Relic
 
ah, my patron saint as my dad, a Detroit native, had a great devotion to St. Anne under this title. Wish I could be there, pray for me when you go.

I wish I could be there with you. I’ve been to Ste-Anne de Beaupre’s church in Quebec, and I have her medal. She helps me drive safely through the New England winters.
