I picked this as my saint name (roman catholic) but i also need to give a reason why i picked this.I have no idea what reason to give.Any ideas?
 
it fits with my name.There just isn’t enought details about him to give any reason.

I think you should pick another name for a better reason than that it “fits.” This should be a little more meaningful than you’re making it.
 
St. Bartholomew/Nathanel was one of the 12. Jesus spotted him from a far distance and told the Apostles that “here was a man with no gile”. Nathanael asked Jesus how he knew him and Jesus told him that He saw him from afar. Nathanael immediately paid Jesus homage, bowing to the ground. I am not sure what form of martyrdom he suffered, but, after Pentecost, he boldly proclaimed Jesus.
 
A little side-track from a language geek–Nathanael was his given name; Bartholomew (bar-Tolmai) was his patronymic–“son of Tolmai.”
